Stream Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 12, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Stream handles data when you use the Stream software, installer, and services. Stream is provided by TMY Advisory Pty Ltd (ACN 602 111 079). If you do not agree with this policy, do not use Stream.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to Stream. It does not cover other websites or services that are not owned or controlled by TMY Advisory.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to deliver Stream. This includes:
- Activation details, such as the mailbox address and claim token you provide.
- Email address identifiers used for matching, routing, and diagnostics. Examples include mailbox UPNs, sender and recipient addresses, and message or thread
- IDs. These identifiers are stored as hashes in Stream’s backend data stores and telemetry.
- Configuration data you set in Stream Control.
- Operational data needed to run Stream (for example, service events and diagnostic signals).
- Support requests and communications with TMY Advisory (for example, emails or tickets you send to us).
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain Stream.
- Apply the settings you configure in Stream Control.
- Keep Stream secure and reliable.
- Respond to support requests.
- We do not use email content for advertising or marketing.
How we store and protect information
- Stream does not store plaintext personal information in its databases.
- Configuration data is encrypted at rest.
- Identifiers used for matching and diagnostics are stored as hashes.
- Email and calendar content is processed to make decisions. Message bodies and attachments are not stored in Stream databases, encrypted or otherwise.
- Access is limited to authorized staff and systems that run Stream.
Sharing information
We may share information with third-party service providers who help us deliver Stream. Today, this is limited to Microsoft (for Microsoft 365 access, hosting and Azure OpenAI for matching and routing). These providers are only allowed to use information to provide services to us. We do not harvest or sell customer data to third parties. Stream also works with your Microsoft 365 environment so it can read and apply changes in your mailbox. That processing happens inside your Microsoft 365 tenant. We may disclose information if required by a valid legal request.
Retention
We retain configuration while Stream is active. After deactivation, you can request removal of stored data by contacting admin@tmyadvisory.com.
Your choices
You can request access to or correction of your information by contacting admin@tmyadvisory.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through appropriate channels. We will not start storing email message bodies without updating this policy and providing notice.
